[Print version] Chosen Vale is an exciting and challenging work for three trumpets in three movements:

  • Belong
  • Between
  • Behave

Its opening movement Belong is an expansive fanfare with sweeping gestures, the second Between, a spritely interlude before the third romping finale Behave.

The work was composed by John Wallace and inspired by the Chosen Vale international trumpet seminar held at The Center for Advanced Musical Studies in Chosen Vale, at which John performed and mentored on a number of occasions.

A a multi-track innovative recording of the composition, by trumpet prodigy Daniel de Gruchy-Lambert, is also available to purchase through this online shop as a downloadable MP3.
